"Shinshu proud local freeze-dried bean curd production Marudai for 8 pieces" is a Frozen tofu (freeze-dried bean curd) made by the shinshu-grown soybean and the water in the south shinshu region. Freeze-dried bean curd which is said to have been first created by a monk in the Koyasan Mountain about 800 years ago. In the Age of Civil Wars, the preserved food Shingen Takeda made his soldiers produce was called freeze-dried tofu.
