Feb. 4, 1967	Born in Oita Prefecture (Kyushu Island). And born into the pharma business, as his family continues to own and operate Usuki Pharmaceutical Corp., the company founded by his great-grandfather in 1920.
Mar. 1989	Graduated from the University of Tokyo with bachelor’s degree in Basic Science.
Apr. 1989	Joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as systems analyst.
Jan. 1991	Founding member of Andersen Consulting’s Tokyo-based strategic consulting team.
May. 1994	Left Andersen to join Usuki Pharmaceutical (the family business).
Nov. 1994	Founded Healthy-Net Corp., predecessor to Kenko.com.
May. 2000	Kenko.com website goes live.
Dec. 2003	Healthy-Net renamed Kenko.com Inc. to reflect move from mail-order to online sales.
June. 2004	IPO: Kenko.com listed on Mothers section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Mar. 2009	Kenko.com passes ¥10 billion ($100m) annual sales milestone, following five years of 36% average annual growth.
